After three years of research and development, this timepiece achieves a remarkable level of accuracy, utilizing the imported 9015 movement to replicate the complex functions of the original 868 movement, ensuring that all features are consistent with the official version.

Key Features:

1. Perpetual Calendar Function: The watch features an innovative hidden button at the 8 o’clock position to adjust the calendar by month. The perpetual calendar system operates normally, displaying the years from 2024 to 2029. This makes it easier to replace the perpetual calendar module when needed.

2. Date, Weekday, and Month Functions:

   • Date: Displayed at 3 o’clock, the date can be adjusted forward by rotating the crown in the first position and backward in the second position. It is not recommended to adjust the date backward to avoid disrupting the moon phase function.
   • Weekday: Displayed at 9 o’clock, the weekday can be adjusted using the crown in the second position with a 24-hour cycle.
   • Month: Displayed at 6 o’clock, the month can be adjusted via the hidden button at the 8 o’clock position. The watch also includes an adjustment lever to assist with this process.

3. Warning Window Function: Positioned above the central hands, a fan-shaped window indicates when the year adjustment is permissible (white) or restricted (blue). The blue zone indicates a period when adjusting the year could damage the movement, a feature consistent with the original 868/1 movement.

4. Moonphase Function: The moonphase display at the 12 o’clock position completes a full cycle every 30 days, accurately depicting the lunar phases. The moonphase can be adjusted by rotating the crown in the first position, addressing the issue of independent moonphase adjustment, which was not previously possible.

Additionally, an adjustment instruction card is provided to make it easier for watch enthusiasts to understand how to operate these features.

Aesthetic Restoration:

1. Case and Materials: The case is crafted from high-quality stainless steel, consistent with the original. Every part is precisely machined using CNC technology to replicate the original design, with a case diameter of 39mm and a thickness close to the original at around 10mm. This maintains a slim profile despite the inclusion of complex functions.

2. Dial: The dial is meticulously recreated based on the original dimensions, with all markers and sub-dials molded accurately. The three sub-dials for the date, week, and month are sunken, just like the original. The moonphase and perpetual calendar windows are more prominently raised for better visual effect. The markers, logo, and all dial details are replicated with precise attention to detail, including the convex appearance of the markers.

3. Hands: The watch features Jaeger-LeCoultre’s signature teardrop hands, which are half sandblasted and half polished. The hour and minute hands are slightly curved, and the blue steel second hand is fired to a deeper, richer blue.
